Position Purpose

Manufactures products according to drawings and specifications provided, to ensure timely manufacturing of products to customer specifications.

Schedule: 7:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday

Salary: CAD 18.32/hour

Key Job Activities

  • Assembling Console cabinets from flatpack components.
  • Operates production equipment according to the specific directions provided.
  • Maintains & ensures work area and aisles around areas are kept clean and free of debris.
  • Assists in training other team members to meet established standards.
  • Ensures parts, subassemblies and finished product are labeled correctly by reviewing and updating where necessary on a regular basis
  • Inspect and ensure all cut quality is within tolerance
  • Assists in developing solutions to problems.
  • Performs work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Other duties that may be assigned on an as-required basis.

Experience (North America & LATAM)

  • High school education or equivalent with Math and English at the high school graduate level
  • 0-1 year of work experience in a related industrial or woodworking production environment
  • Must be able to use hand tools, quality assurance devices, tape measures, and production equipment.
  • Basic computer skills/knowledge
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, verbally.
  • Demonstrates a professional attitude when approaching work assignments.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrates ability to complete tasks in a given period, adjusting for changing priorities.
