Carmichael Engineering is looking for a 3ord or 4th year Hvac apprentice to join our growing Edmonton Branch. In this position you will be reporting to the Service Manager. This is a unionized position with local 488 and a great opportunity to grow your Hvac career.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
  • Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
  • Assisting with customers' queries.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years HVAC trades experience (Apprentice level 3 or 4)
  • Experience working with boilers an asset
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Work with Management to promote and utilize safe work practices.
