About the position | Join a Social Work cohesive team working together in providing social work services to in-patients attached to RIH. You will provide comprehensive assessment, care planning and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families. Working collaboratively with other health care providers and the multidisciplinary team, you will provide direct psychosocial care, counseling, system navigation and advocacy, education and linkage to relevant specialized complex care resources while facilitating client self-management. Experience working with adults within the acute care/hospital setting is preferred.

This position works Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00. It is a position that provides coverage until return of incumbent. There are many opportunities with Interior Health that begin with relief positions and lead to regular employment.
