Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens assessments
  • Provide Lasik pre-operative and post-operative care, if desired
  • Collaborate with a dedicated retail team to ensure an outstanding patient experience
  • Inherit a substantial patient database from an established clinic

Required Skills

  • Strong clinical expertise in administering eye exams
  • Proficiency in contact lens fitting and management
  • Knowledge of Lasik procedures (pre and post-operative care preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative retail environment

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
  • Valid licensure to practice optometry in Canada
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous, though not mandatory
