Based in in Calgary, Alberta or working from your home office, Nufarm is looking for a Regulatory Product Manager who will manage federal regulatory activities for assigned projects and business segment(s). You will provide regulatory expertise, advice, and leadership to the business and applicable market segments. You will independently define complex regulatory strategies coordinate federal applications for registration of new products and new active ingredients, defend existing products through federal registration review process, and work closely with operations to manage any label updates.
What will you be doing?
You hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences or agriculture. Additionally, you have a minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs and compliance, in the Agrochemical sector (e.g. Contract Research Organization, Regulatory Consultancy, AgChem Industry). The ideal candidate will have 10 or more years of experience in Canadian Ag chemical regulatory affairs and compliance. Working knowledge of the Canadian crop protection market and basic knowledge of EPA and FIFRA registration process and requirements an asset.

What will you be doing?
- Manage all PMRA regulatory activities for assigned projects including new products and amendments to labelling or composition.
- Defend existing active ingredients and products through PMRA re-evaluation process.
- Proactively identify potential regulatory issues on products or industry topics under assigned areas of responsibility and independently take lead on communicating to management and developing strategy to help address.
- Collaborate with other regional regulatory teams to align data generation for the registration of new product and AI also intended to other markets.
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Provide strong organization and administrative skills to accurately track detailed product registration information and regulatory profile.
- Other duties are performed under the guidance and direction of the Regulatory Affairs Manager.
