Job Description

The Opportunity:

The Water and Wastewater team at WSP is currently seekingWater Wastewater Process Engineer to join our Vertical – Water-Wastewater Treatment located at our Ottawa, Brockville or Cornwall office. You will be responsible for the design of wide variety of Linear and Vertical Works including water and wastewater treatement, pumping station and reservoirs, as well as Hydraulic Water Modelling projects for municipal and industrial applications ranging from conception to detailed design.

What you can expect to do here:

  • You will assist in preparing technical analysis and design for municipal and industrial clients;
  • You will collaborate with clients, municipalities, project managers in the preparation and review of Contract Documents and contractors on constructability reviews, quality assurance and resolving contractual and construction issues ;
  • You will lead by example and ensure staff complete tasks in accordance with WSP's safety policies/procedures and legislative requirements and by successfully mentoring, assisting encouraging and motivate team members;


What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Graduated from a Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering program;
  • 5 years of experience in civil, mechanical or environmental engineering;
  • Registered as an Professional Engineer;
  • Working knowledge of these softwares: AutoCAD, Revit and Civil 3D;
  • Demonstrated communication (written & verbal) and collaboration skills with clients and general public
