Selected applicants will be invited to attend the GHD Recruitment Day at our Vancouver office on Thursday November 7th where you will interview for positions available at our Vancouver office. Environmental:

  • Contaminated Sites and Remediation (CAR): Our local teams specialize in environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, and contract administration. The environmental engineering team works alongside multi-disciplinary teams and supports a variety of brownfield redevelopment projects, environmental site assessments and remediation projects and is actively involved in the waste management industry. Our clients and projects are located throughout Ontario and beyond in the public and private sectors.
  • Environmental Health & Safety Compliance (EHS): Work with GHD’s corporate Air & Noise Group, consisting of over 80 engineers and scientists across North America.
  • Waste Management: Opportunity to be part of an established waste management practice in Canada with a vision of changing waste to resources. You will have the opportunity to contribute to waste projects that include landfills, transfer stations, recycling facilities, anaerobic digestion facilities, composting facilities, and/or waste-to-energy facilities.
  • Emergency Response: Requires working on a team that is available 24/7 to assist with providing on-site professional services to assist with emergency spill response for clients in Ontario and across Canada.

Water:

  • Water Management: Chance to work on a variety of infrastructure projects for both public and private clients including water and wastewater pumping station design, water and wastewater treatment design, asset management, infrastructure inspections and assessments, and construction administration and inspection.

Transportation :

  • Highway Roads & Bridges: Great opportunity to learn and grow as a highway or bridge design engineer.
  • Rail & Transit: If you have a strong desire to develop an understanding of the latest technologies and techniques in the Rail and Transit sector, look no further.

Engineering Design Organization (EDO): Opportunity to be part of our civil team working on municipal infrastructure projects such as road reconstruction, trenchless rehabilitation of pipelines, stormwater, wastewater collection and water transmission distribution projects. The subgroups listed below are all services lines our EDO groups. For now, we´re looking for Geotechnical and Building Information Modeling:

  • Geotechnical : Opportunity to work on a wide variety of geotechnical engineering projects. Services will include in-situ testing supervision of field investigations, design and technical report preparation and field work management of small and large projects.
  • Building Information Modeling (BIM): Our EDO BIM Group works within a collaborative environment for various large-scale Provincial, Regional, Municipal industrial and commercial projects
  • Civil - Technology : Works with municipal infrastructure projects such as road reconstruction, trenchless rehabilitation of pipelines, stormwater, wastewater collection and water transmission distribution projects.
