AFE Administrator

Saturn has an opportunity for a full time AFE Administrator based in the Calgary, Alberta office. Reporting to the Supervisor Fixed Assets Accounting, the AFE Administrator will be primarily responsible for coordinating AFEs including, but not limited to:

• Administering operated and non-operated Authority for Expenditures for internal approvals as well as forwarding to partners using AFE Navigator.
• Coordinating and preparing revisions and supplements as required.
• Ensure AFEs are setup correctly, verifying working interests, overhead, AFE type, capital classifications are accurate.
• Overseeing AFE Navigator user accounts (i.e. setting up and removing users and setting up alternate signing authorities).
• Support dispute resolutions with partners, coordinating responses with land and accounting teams.
• Responsible for AFE Navigator system changes and revisions with vendor.
• Additional duties as required.
  
  

Candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Minimum 2 years of oil and gas experience.
• Previous experience with AFE Navigator and QByte is essential.
• Must be organized with strong attention to detail.
• Efficient, dependable and have a strong ability to multi-task and manage several priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to clearly communicate at all levels and provide resolution when necessary.
