Position Overview

We're seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative to join our national tax and accounting company. In this role, you'll be the crucial link between our marketing efforts and our sales team, working with inbound and event leads to book appointments with our sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will

  • Manage and qualify leads from various marketing channels and events
  • Conduct initial assessments of potential clients' needs and pain points
  • Schedule appointments between qualified leads and our sales representatives
  • Collaborate closely with our marketing team to optimize lead generation strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and updating our CRM system
  • Contribute to the overall growth and success of our national sales effort


What You Will Bring

Experience

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in a lead qualification or business development role
  • Experience in the tax, accounting, or financial services industry preferred
  • Strong familiarity with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot or Salesforce


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and trust with potential clients
  • Basic understanding of tax and accounting principles, or a genuine interest in learning
  • Empathy and respect for small business owners and farmers
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with remote work tools and practices
