What you will be doing:

As a Client Care Support, you will support administrative functions, such as reception, data entry, reporting, and small projects. You will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming reception area for agency clients and visitors, representing The Family Centre in a professional manner, and applying a trauma-informed lens to your administrative practice. You will be an integral member of the Client Care Team in completing tasks, sharing responsibilities, being supportive, and contributing to the learning of others.

  • Greet and support clients and visitors to The Family Centre (in-person and by phone)
  • Answer calls, handle general inquiries, address client inquiries, and maintain records of clients
  • Manage reception and administration email accounts by monitoring, responding to, and following up on incoming emails
  • Perform administrative duties such as processing client intakes, file closures, critical incident reports, third-party disclosures, creating and maintaining forms, and compiling reports
  • Ensure office areas are well-stocked with appropriate supplies
  • Assist in opening and/or closing the agency as needed

What you will bring to the role:

  • 2 years of post-secondary education is preferred
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in an administrative or customer service role
  • Able to work in a shared space and shared role
  • Computer literacy and ability to multitask with a range of electronic systems
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Must have proficiency in at least 2 of the following: advanced Microsoft Word, intermediate Adobe Creative Suite, and general PowerPoint skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (including some weekday evenings/Saturday hours)

Background Check Process & Requirements:

As a part of the selection process, The Family Centre will conduct reference checks with your most recent employers.

  • Police Information Check (completed within the last 6 months)
  • Child Intervention Records Check (completed within the last 6 months)
  • Suicide Intervention Training, required within 3 months of start date
  • Certification in First Aid and Level C CPR within the first 3 months of employment (training can be provided in-house)

Compensation - Our comprehensive compensation package offered to employees reflects a strong commitment to employee wellbeing and is competitive within the marketplace.

  • $43,288 to $55,511 annually
