Secondary Contract Teacher - External Posting

Please Note: If you are a Part-time contract teacher, do not apply to this posting. Where no Secondary Contract teacher is hired for a contract vacancy, the consideration moves to current OCDSB Continuing Education and Home Instruction teachers covered by the Teacher Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement.

A minimum of 3 qualified applicants will be offered an interview; and,

If fewer than three (3) applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.

Qualified external candidates will be screened based on the requirements identified in this posting and shortlisted applicants will be assessed via an interview process.

As a condition of employment with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, the successful external candidate will be required to submit a "Vulnerable Sector Screening" (criminal record check) prior to the commencement of any employment duties.
