YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Manager Ecommerce & Digital Marketing, the Content Editor will be tasked with delivering on-brand and performance-driven copy across all channels. This individual will focus on high level brand message, along with cross-functional execution per channel, collaborating with multiple teams including Digital Marketing, Online Merchandising, Paid Media, Brand Development, and Brand Commercialization. The ideal candidate also has good knowledge regarding SEO optimization & stays on top of the latest fashion trends and pop culture lingo (knowledge of current trends and buzzwords is an appreciated skill).

Develop content for Call It Spring Newsletters and E-Commerce site

  • Work alongside the Email Marketing team to develop engaging and traffic-driving email copy that is clear, concise, and impactful
  • Work alongside the Digital Marketing team to deliver engaging SEO-optimized copy for the eCommerce site keeping key product categories, trends, brand initiatives and tone of voice top of mind
  • Develop high-performance promotional copy for both web and emails
  • Work alongside the Online Merchandising team to ensure product attributes, product descriptions and seasonal callouts are clearly identified within key content pages, product listing pages and product detail pages throughout the website
  • Staying abreast of Google Trends and SEO results to drive copy changes as required
  • Work alongside the in-house translation team to create French copy that is on brand, clear and in-line with English iterations
  • Create a bank of compelling email and web copy to allow for easy future execution and quick turnaround for last-minute emails or promotion launches
  • Support the Wholesale team with robust product descriptions & attributes adhering to partner guidelines

Develop copy for Call It Spring Media initiatives

  • Work with the Media team to understand the objective of the different tactics to ensure copy reflects the goal of the ads
  • Deliver optimized copy for Facebook and Instagram ads, as well as other Paid Media placements

Develop copy for Call It Spring Brand Activations

  • Develop strong taglines for both seasonal campaigns and edits and develop a clear and optimized 360 copy execution plan for all channels (eComm, Email, Paid Media, Brick and Mortar and Social Media)

Develop copy for all Call It Spring In-store Marketing

    • Develop tagline & copy for brand activations specific to Brand Commercialization needs
    • Develop product taglines & copy for product activations specific to Brand Commercialization needs
    • Develop omnichannel promotional messaging
DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

  • University degree in English or a related field required
  • Strong copywriting skills in English & ideally French as well (We’re talking flawless writing and quick wit)
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly dynamic environment, under tight deadlines
  • Self-sufficient and capable of managing projects independently
  • Strong organizational skills and super keen attention to detail
  • The ability to read, speak, write and understand the French written word, an asset
  • Creative writing experience; knowledge of retail fashion industry trends and buzzwords, an asset
  • A strong understanding of SEO concepts and best practises, an asset
