The opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Management Manager to join our AI & Data team in technology consulting. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data management practices, data architecture, and data governance. This role will be responsible for overseeing data quality, data integration, and data lifecycle management, ensuring that our clients can leverage their data assets effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of robust data management frameworks and practices for clients.
  • Oversee data quality management, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across various systems.
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage data integration processes, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) development, to support seamless data flow across systems.
  • Develop automation scripts for testing and remediating data issues, ensuring continuous monitoring and maintenance of data quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data engineers, and business analysts, to align data initiatives with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical expertise in data architecture and data modeling.
  • Drive the development and maintenance of data management tools and technologies.
  • Conduct data assessments to identify and remediate data issues.
  • Mentor and lead a team of data management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in data management, data architecture, and data governance.
  • Proven experience in data quality management and data integration.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient in data modeling, ETL processes, and data lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Regulatory compliance and privacy program development and implementation experience in Financial Service Industry is highly desirable.
  • Certifications in data management (e.g., DAMA Certified Data Management Professional) are a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Data management tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica, Cognos)
  • Data integration and ETL processes
  • Data quality management
  • Data governance frameworks
  • Data architecture and modeling
  • SQL and other database management systems
  • SAS, Cognos experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts is a plus
