Here at Jitterbit we are looking to hire extremely talented Sales Engineers (presales) to help us meet the demand we are seeing for our platform and help us grow our business. This position will be reporting directly to the North America’s Sales Engineer leader. This candidate will be focusing on building strategic relationships with our enterprise customers and prospects by being a trusted advisor and a product subject matter expert. Strategic vision for our enterprise customers. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding customers’ current state and presenting a viable future state with a Jitterbit solution. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to leverage your experience in best practices integration patterns and APIs. You will be interacting with different personas (developers, architects, managers, VPs and C-level executives) who will be evaluating multiple integration solutions from different vendors therefore it is crucial for you to have great and active listening skills to help the prospects and customers in their buying journey. As a sales engineer, you also have the opportunity to improve our product and impact our product roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise Account Executives to architect and provide a comprehensive integration strategy for our customers, partners and prospects evaluating an integration platform.
  • Become the trusted advisor for customers as they go through their digital transformation.
  • Develop deep product expert while demonstrating how Jitterbit Harmony platform will solve challenges faced by our customers.
  • Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders (developers, architects, C-level executives) to articulate the value propositions of Jitterbit.
  • Be the platform evangelist at user conferences, webinars and other marketing events.
  • Apply with confidence sales methodologies to improve the chance of earning the business of our customers.
  • Have extensive experience with technical discovery methodologies that help the sales team identify technical fit.
  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams to enhance our products and positively impact our product roadmap based on customer feedback.
  • Provide direction/feedback on customer needs to product development.
  • Provide mentorship for junior sales engineers.
  • Create and maintain repeatable content such as presentations and demos.

Requirements:

  • Computer Science degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of technical experience in the integration space
  • Presales experience is a plus
  • Exceptional presentation skills for engaging with customers and internal stakeholders, including creating and delivering customized demos to various executive levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on Experience working with Integration products or working with APIs in languages such as Java, C#, Python, etc
  • Proficiency in applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, NetSuite and BMC are a highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of APIs (RESTful and SOAP)
  • Experience with tools like Postman and SoapUI.
  • Travel 10-25%
