Position Overview: The Technical Operations Manager will oversee several key technical operations of the Atlantic Hockey Group, ensuring efficient management of registration software and program scheduling. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, management skills, and an understanding of hockey program administration. Below covers the key responsibilities among other tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of Registration Software:
    • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the registration software.
    • Ensure seamless user experience for participants registering for programs.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise with the registration system.
  • Program Scheduling:
    • Develop and manage schedules for various hockey programs and events.
    • Coordinate with coaches, venues, and participants to ensure efficient scheduling.
    • Maintain up-to-date and accurate scheduling information on all platforms.
  • Online Stores
    • Manage the online stores process for apparel and other items.
    • Oversee process of sourcing items from providers.
  • Data Management:
    • Ensure the security and integrity of participant data.
    • Manage data analytics to optimize program offerings and improve user experience.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the coaching staff to align technical operations with program goals.
    • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including participants, parents, and partners.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing registration software and program scheduling, preferably within a sports organization.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in relevant software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of hockey programs and a passion for the sport is highly desirable.
