How you'll make a difference:
- Coordinate and manage the technical project delivery workplans to align with the project schedule for all project sizes and typologies
- Resolve complex design and technical issues; provide technical expertise in the detailed design of buildings for all project sizes and typologies, including large or complex projects
- Prepare contract drawings, coordinate specifications, schedules, details and sketches from conceptual design through to construction
- Provide leadership and direction to team members to develop in-house expertise and methodologies (technical and quality standards, etc.) to advance the group and the efficiency and effectiveness of our architectural work
- Lead the building of architectural BIM models, starting in Concept/Schematic Design and through all design and construction phases
- Lead the coordination of the technical aspects of the project design across all involved disciplines and sub-consultants
- Support our contract administration team through the construction phase, including discipline coordination and working with Clients, Authorities Having Jurisdiction, and Contractors where required
- You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as an architectural technologist, including a minimum of five years as a Job Captain overseeing technical production on large complex projects
- You possess strong Revit skills and working knowledge of AutoCAD
- You have achieved a diploma in Architectural technology
- You have a strong knowledge of building codes, building construction systems, building materials and specifications
- You have honed visual/graphic, written and verbal communication skills with a focus on effective collaboration and integration
- Affiliate member with the AAA
