Overview

Avison Young is currently seeking an individual to fill our Office manager role; we are looking for someone who is reliable, timely and Professional. This position entails working with a diverse group of people at all levels in the organization. The successful candidate will need to be able to use proper judgment in planning and prioritizing the workload.


The base salary is aligned with market data and is estimated between $55,000 to $70,000 with the ability to achieve additional compensation through a bonus. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors, including relevant education/training, experience, and internal equity.


Responsibilities

  • Provide 90-day forecasts on a monthly basis for future revenues
  • Onboard new hires in Hubspot and provide training information
  • Collect AR updates from brokers and work with Finance to ensure we have the most up-to-date information
  • Organize all office events
  • Oversee/run culture (social) committee and charity committees
  • Register for industry events (CREW, NAIOP, UDI, etc.)
  • Oversee all IT issues with IT Analyst
  • Oversee all real estate licenses for Vancouver office and real estate board of greater Vancouver membership
  • Support administrative coordinator – main point of contact in their absence for any reception/administrative duties
  • Oversee health & safety committee
  • General office communications
  • Oversee sales incentive programs for office


Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in a managerial position is an asset
  • Strong PC skills i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point and MS Outlook
  • Extremely detailed oriented
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work flow
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgement, show initiative and be proactive
  • High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information
