Checker - YYZ

Newrest is seeking a dedicated Checker to join our team. As a Checker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all flights are properly catered and that safety and security protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Flight Assembly Verification: Ensure correct assembly of flights in the fridge and verify the number of services.
• Pre-Loading Check: Verify flight supplies before loading onto trucks.
• Temperature Control: Take and record the temperature of services before loading them into trucks.
• Trolley Sealing: Seal trolleys and send seal sheets to airline companies.
• Bill of Lading (BL) Verification: Ensure that the BL matches the loaded services.
• Change Notification: Inform the regulation team of any changes to the loading plan.
• On-Tarmac Security and Safety: Enforce safety and security protocols while on the tarmac.
• Aircraft Door Procedures: Ensure that approach, opening, and closing door procedures are properly followed.
• Loading Process: Oversee the loading process to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
• Crew Interaction: Verify loaded services with the crew and maintain excellent relations with Cabin Crew Managers and airline representatives on board.
• Documentation: Ensure that the BL is properly filled (departure temperature, start/end times, signatures, and adjustments) and that the seal sheet is signed by the crew.
