Job Description

This position handles day-to-day communication and training of newly hired Peak Season Driver Helpers. This position helps coordinate the needs and efforts of the operation to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction is met. This position assists in facilitating the smooth execution of procedures and management of systems.

Job-Type: Seasonal - Part-Time

Location: 60 Midpark Rd, London, ON

Wage: $19.17/hr

Start Time: 7:30 AM (Flexibility required as per operational needs)

Workday: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Coordinates staffing requirements in response to fluctuating volumes
  • Trains and supports the onboarding of new Driver Helpers, addressing any questions or concerns that arise
  • Acts as a liaison between the Supervisor Group and Driver Helpers reporting to this role
  • Communicates effectively with HR, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, and peak employees on a consistent, daily basis
  • Implements the district results tracking plan, analyzes data, and prepares reports as necessary
  • Reviews results with relevant management teams and ensures daily adjustments are made to optimize improvement opportunities
  • Completes additional tasks as needed

Qualifications /Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in typing with a speed of 40+ words per minute
  • Knowledge - Advance Access Data Base and SharePoint 365. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Flexible and willing to work varied shift hours
  • Must have own transportation (location is not on a bus route)
