We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer at the level to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with extensive experience in modern web technologies and frameworks.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable full-stack applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate in the development and deployment of applications using Docker and container orchestration.
  • Implement and manage messaging frameworks, including Kafka, for real-time data processing.
  • Utilize AWS services for deploying and managing cloud-based applications.
  • Develop and execute unit tests using Junit to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Create and maintain API documentation with Swagger.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate in the design, development, and deployment of complex web applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

  • 6-9 years of professional software development experience, preferably on full stack technologies using Java, Angular, Spring Boot.
  • Angular: Proficient in building dynamic and responsive web applications.
  • Java: Extensive experience in developing robust backend systems.
  • Spring Boot: Strong knowledge of creating microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • UI Frameworks: Expertise in various UI frameworks, such as React and/or Vue to enhance user experience.
  • JUnit: Skilled in writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code quality.
  • Swagger: Experience in API documentation and design.
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Proficient in setting up and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with Kafka or other Messaging platforms.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Microservices and Containerization on Cloud platform.
  • Experience with concurrency, multi-threading, and event-driven architectures.
  • Demonstrated Experience in Python programming and/or knowledge in python web frameworks like Flask, Django is a plus.
  • Familiarity with common collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Jira, Confluence, and Git, GitHub.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Strong communication skills (technical descriptions and diagramming, escalation, written, in-person, adaptive as appropriate to the audience, etc.).
  • “Strong opinions, lightly held” Willingness to own, research, and argue your points of view, bring new ideas to the table, but deliver according to consensus and expectations.

Required Level of Education (include certifications):

  • University or Technical Diploma in IT discipline with equivalent experience.
  • Formal Java Developer Certification will be nice to have.
  • Formal Certification with Azure or AWS will be nice to have.
