The Senior Project Manager for Cytiva will work with R&D and Product Management to report on project execution and drive product development best practices.

This position is part of the Nanomedicine business and will be ON-SITE at our Vancouver, Canada office. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

  • Act as the project lead for a major product development cycle, developing and driving Project Management and New Product Development best practices via Danaher Business Systems.
  • Coordinate and/or lead the Product Planning Group facilitating project updates, gate approvals, and resource planning.
  • Drive Project on-time and revenue achievement accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate the product roadmap including the Master and Prioritized Project Lists.
  • Facilitate our customer and product development requirements.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science and prefer 10+ years experience in product development, systems engineering, and/or life sciences R&D.
  • Prefer 5+ years experience in technology project leadership; Visual Project Management Certified Practitioner preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding, self discipline, and judgement around product development stage-gate processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively communicate with and influence cross-functional and cross-organizational teams.
  • Customer facing experience and of product development needs (Voice of Customer and translation of requirements into tasks) is an asset.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Working in or directly with Product Management, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing.
  • Experience developing regulated products or products for drug manufacturing markets.
  • Leading people. You enjoy mentoring, training, and aligning other R&D project managers/leads.

The salary range for this role is 90,000-120,000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and retirement benefits.
