We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager with experience in utility projects to join our Vancouver team. In this role you will drive success in complex, high-risk projects, collaborating with top-tier professionals and stakeholders. You’ll leverage your expertise to deliver excellence in quality, safety, and efficiency. This role offers the perfect blend of challenge, innovation, and career growth.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, execution and successful highly complex infrastructure projects by leading cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams so that projects are successfully completed safely, with quality, within budget, and on time
  • Plan, direct, and report on project activities by consistently monitoring project benefits, resources and status
  • Develop project plans, risk management plans, progress reports, action logs, communication plans, risk registers, work plans, lessons learned, close out reports, etc. to ensure proper execution and communication to relevant stakeholders and Sr. Management
  • Manage multiple activities such as schedule, costs, quality assurance, change management, invoicing, engineering, First Nations and stakeholder engagement, communication, regulatory approvals, procurement, planning and controls, construction management, pre-commissioning, employee relations, and safety by using project management principles
  • Maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders including clients, contractors, engineers and field crews through regular communication using excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Establish standards for project delivery and monitoring using excellent analytical skills and a comprehensive knowledge of project management practices and procedures to optimize project resources to continuously improve project management practices


  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Over 7 years of experience in project management
  • Excellent working knowledge of safety standards and regulations such as Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Standards and WorkSafe Regulations
  • Effective communication abilities in English, including analytical skills, interpersonal communication, and presentations

The expected salary for this position is from $122,000 to $160,000 based on the richness and diversity of the candidate’s experience, training, skills and internal equity. The position or associated salary could vary depending on the profile of the candidate.
