We are currently hiring for an Engineering Technologist I or II (Planning). This regular opportunity, in the Regulatory Compliance Services Department, has full time hours.
As an Engineering Technologist I or II (Planning), you will:
- Be responsible for reviewing applications relating to the connection to, or extension of, the water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
To do this job, you need to have:
- A post-Secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent engineering courses.
- up to five (5) years of related experience working in a municipal engineering environment in construction inspection and/or related engineering department activities.
- Be a registered member, or eligible for membership, as a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) with TechNova.
- Have a valid Nova Scotia Driver's License.
