Senior Project Manager/Leader – Job Description
- This role is designed for an individual with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects with multi-year, multi-million-dollar budgets
- The successful candidate will bring their expertise in project management methodologies, including Agile/Scrum, and demonstrate strong leadership skills to drive high-profile initiatives
- The Project Manager/Leader - Senior will be responsible for overseeing complex projects within the I&IT framework
- This role involves ensuring that project deliverables meet business requirements on time, within scope, and budget, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and compliance
- The candidate will lead organizational development, strategy development, and business planning efforts while managing project schedules, deliverables, and scope
- The role also includes promoting best practices in project management, coordinating project processes, and managing large project budgets with high fiscal control
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-year, multi-million budget projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
- Experience with various software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
- Experience creating privacy, financial, communication, and IT documentation
- Experience with Azure Cloud setup and operations, including Data Factory, Databricks, and AI technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous public sector experience
- Knowledge of the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge
- Understanding of Information Management principles and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
- Experience managing client relationships and resolving conflicts
