As the Commercial Specialist you are an auto parts expert who is responsible for driving the commercial sales within your PartSource store. The Commercial Specialist provides ongoing customer service to our installer customers by locating parts and overseeing delivery and maintaining expert knowledge on automotive parts and systems.

What you'll do

  • Act as the primary contact for commercial customers who phone the store for their auto parts needs
  • Act as a partner to commercial customers by maintaining expert knowledge on automotive parts and the industry; utilize your relationship with the customer to ensure they are offered the right part for their needs.
  • Ensure efficient delivery of products by staging deliveries and overseeing drivers. Ensure appropriate invoices are generated for each delivery.
  • Generate invoices and credits for commercial accounts; maintain filing systems and assist with accounts receivable payments.
  • Provide support or recommend maintenance or repair for our delivery/fleet vehicles.
  • Follow company policies and loss prevention procedures.
  • Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

What you bring

  • Expert knowledge of automotive systems, including electronics, suspension, brakes, exhaust, etc.
  • Functional literacy and capability of recognizing part numbers and line codes to ensure the proper selection of parts.
  • Fundamental computer skills.
  • Effective communicator with strong decision-making abilities and excellent selling skills.
  • Team player with passion for automotive parts aftermarket industry.
  • Familiarity with using protective equipment including:
  • Mandatory certified safety shoes (supplied upon hire)
  • As required: safety glasses, reflective safety vest, gloves, apron

Assets:

  • Possession of a valid Driver's License
  • Automotive Training or Certification is an Asset
