Overview:

This is a 6 months contact role, focusing on quality assurance support by maintaining and updating documentation. It includes organizing both electronic and physical quality documents, performing data entry for QA metrics, and generating reports. Additionally, the position involves providing documentation assistance to other departments, ensuring effective collaboration and accurate information sharing across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Support:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating quality documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality manuals.
  • Support the QA team in conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal policies.
  • Track and manage non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and preventive measures.


Documentation Management:

  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical documentation for quality control processes.
  • Ensure proper version control and accessibility of quality documents across the organization.


Data Entry:

  • Perform data entry for quality assurance metrics, inspection results, and other relevant information into internal databases and reporting systems.
  • Assist in generating regular reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases.


Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Provide administrative support to other departments (e.g., Production, H&S, Shipping, Sanitation and Maintenance) in managing documentation and data entry tasks.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate and timely information sharing across departments.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or administrative role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with database management.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
