Senior Scrum Master - Specialized IT Consultant – Job Description
- This role involves working closely with clients to advise on information technology solutions that meet business objectives and enhance the organization's I&IT systems. You will serve as a senior team member in an Agile environment, supporting the implementation and sustainability of Agile processes, principles, and practices.
- Partner with clients to improve the structure and efficiency of I&IT systems.
- Provide strategic guidance on Information Management & IT technology and IT infrastructures.
- Act as a technical advisor and expert on specific deliverables.
- Ensure quality assurance and control of project deliverables.
- Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the Scrum team.
- Collaborate with Project Manager and Product Owner to manage the product backlog.
- Create communication forums for stakeholders to ensure clarity on project goals and delivery commitments.
- Mentor and coach Agile teams to enhance productivity and remove impediments.
- Scrum Master certification and/or demonstrated experience managing Scrum projects in sprints.
- Experience working on Agile developed projects.
- Proficiency in using DevOps to manage backlogs and sprints.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Office, and Visio.
- Experience in development and analysis with Salesforce Public Sector Foundations.
- Experience in structured methodologies for application development, design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Project Methodology certifications such as Agile Coach, Lean Six Sigma Black/Green/Yellow Belt.
- Experience with compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.
- Experience with Government of Ontario – Information Technology Standards (GO ITS) 54 Standards.
- Experience working on Public Sector I&IT Projects.
