Reporting to the Training Supervisor, the Training Advisor’s primary objective is to support the training needs of Kidd Operations’ departments.

Position Overview

  • Ability to develop and deliver high quality training materials to all personnel
  • Coordinate training activities for contractors and Kidd Mine and Concentrator personnel
  • Develop and implement delivery plans for training systems
  • Complete induction requirements and verify contractor competencies
  • Ensure training meets legislative requirements and time frames
  • Schedule and document training activities required to maintain company systems
  • Mentoring training officers and embedded trainers

Qualifications

  • A University degree or College diploma with 2-4 years experience in a training capacity
  • Certification in Train the Trainer would be considered an asset
  • Demonstrated technical writing experience including report writing and training development
  • Strong planning, organizational and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Pivot Tables, etc.
