We are seeking a skilled and professional DZ Driver to join our Transportation team starting at 6:00am, Monday-Friday (rotating Saturday shift every 4-6 weeks). You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from our recycling facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Operating an DZ-class lugger truck to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
  • Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment and secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
  • Performing manual tarping if necessary
  • Performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
  • Completing accurate and thorough records of deliveries and any other required documentation


  • Valid DZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
  • Experience driving 18 speed manual transmission is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an DZ Driver
  • Must be physically fit to hand tarp bins
  • Customer service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as required
  • Familiarity with metal recycling processes and materials is an asset
