In anticipation of future needs Robert Half is currently seeking Billings/Cash Application Specialist throughout the Calgary region.
As a Billings/Cash Application Specialist your day to day responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:
- Process and generate invoices for customers in a timely manner.
- Apply cash receipts accurately and promptly to customer accounts.
- Monitor accounts for discrepancies and resolve issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of all billing and cash application transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to billing and cash applications.
- Support customer inquiries regarding billing and payment status.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and efficiencies.
- Ad-hoc duties as requested.
A successful Billings/Cash Application Specialist will possess the following:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in billing, cash applications, or accounts receivable.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Available to start immediately.
