Position Overview
Responsible for identifying and performing necessary body repair work in accordance with manufacturer and Collision Center specifications.
Job Description
Assists Technician examining body damage on customer vehicles
Assistants Technician with identifying necessary body repair work
Assists requesting necessary parts
Assists technician to perform body repairs including removing damaged body parts and replacing with fixed or new parts
Assists with documenting repairs performed
Assists in performing body repairs efficiently and according to Collision Center and manufacturer guidelines
Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
Participates in required training
Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
Complies with Company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Demonstrable knowledge of body repair methods. Collision Center repair training or commensurate experience. Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform Collision Center repair functions
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost-effectively
I-CAR certification training and I-CAR certification would be considered assets
