The Search Ads team constantly pushes the boundaries of general search engine monetization across our apps, including TikTok, TopBuzz, BuzzVideo, and more, building a globally leading Search Ads monetization system. At the Search Ads team, you will have the chance to work on large-scale distributed storage and architecture, NLP, LLM, Ranking, and Recommendation related projects. You will be also deeply involved in the innovation and optimization of our Ad format, creative display, and the ROI of ads delivery. We are looking for candidates who brave difficulties, share a passion for tackling complexity and developing our Search Ads product from 0 to 1 with a world-class team of passionate engineers.

Responsibilities
• Participate in the development of a large-scale Ads system, including recall/ranking/relevance modules.
• Participate in the development and iteration of Ads models.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists and product strategy & operation team to define product strategy and features.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant majors.
• Excellent programming skills in C++/Golang, debugging and optimization skills in general purpose programming languages.
• Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear and concise way.

Preferred Qualifications
• Good knowledge in one of the following areas: large-scale distributed system, backend service, machine learning, full stack.
• Industry experience in one of the following domains: Search Infra, Ads Infra, Recommendation System, ML Infra.
• Good understanding in one of the following domains: Online Advertising System, Ads Delivery System, Search Engine.
• Good collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams.

Job Information:

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is CAD$ 92160- CAD$ 276760 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

The compensation for this position is based on a monthly compensation structure. The range specified is the expected annual compensation for a person in this position.
