Temporary - 0.60 FTE
District position
Salary: The starting annual salary for this part-time teaching position ranges from $$38,014 to $67,081, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).

0.60 FTE temporary contract, starting October 24, 2024 or upon completion of the posting process to June 27, 2025.
Must have a Master's Degree recognized by the BC Teacher Regulation Branch involving major study in deafness and hearing loss. Must be eligible for certification as aTeacher of the Deaf by the Canadian Association of Educators of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CAEDHH). It would be considered an asset to have proficiency in AmericanSign Language (ASL). Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
