M&R has an immediate opening at our Halifax location for an Electrical Engineer or Engineer in Training. This opportunity is for a talented individual who enjoys challenging projects, and interesting work, and is looking for an opportunity to develop a career within a dynamic consulting firm. You will join an established team of design professionals providing innovative solutions for challenging building design projects. You will be reporting to the Electrical Managers.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Technical supervision, coordination, verification and design of various electrical systems projects
  • Work closely with engineers and technicians to develop solutions tailored to client needs and carry out building electrical projects for various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential)
  • Survey existing installations
  • Analyze, design and adapt building-related installations
  • Develop new systems and improve existing ones
  • Draft pre-project studies
  • Assess the construction cost budget
  • Write specifications and technical reports
  • Technical support for design
  • Provide assistance in regard to site supervision

Your Profile

  • Education : BAC
  • Professional title or accreditation : Member of the Professional Engineers as an engineer or equivalent
  • Experience : 0-5 Years
  • Language competencies : To be validated according to the position's needs and location
  • Technological competencies : AutoCad, Revit, Office 365 suite
  • Competencies related to the position (emPerform) : Continuous Improvement, Communication, Technical Skills, Conceptual Thinking, Responsibilities, Concern for Order and Quality, Excellent Multitasking and Time Management Skills.
