Arena Attendant

Our Community Knowledge Campus Department is looking for a dedicated Arena Attendant to join the team.

Position Responsibilities

• Installs, removes, marks, and maintains ice surface in an Arena
• Operation and care of the ice resurfacing equipment and monitoring operation of HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Perform a variety of cleaning, general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility
• Provide excellent customer service to facility clients; monitors the behavior of patrons and spectators
  
  

Qualifications

• Must hold a Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License.
• Preference given to candidates with Level I Arena Operator certification and experience in arena operations.
• Requires a minimum Level I Arena Operator certification (preference for Level II Arena Operator certification).
  
  

Hours

The standard workweek consists of an average of 40 hours, with the specific schedule being determined by the immediate supervisor. Working up to 10 hour shifts, this position can fulfill any shift within our operational hours.

Compensation

Starting Salary $35.79 per hour as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
