Description

Our client, a nonprofit organization, is looking for an Analyst, Financial System & Planning to manage and optimize their NetSuite system. The role is 50% in office and 50% remote. This role involves leveraging the NetSuite FP& A module to provide comprehensive financial reports and insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support the NetSuite system, ensuring it meets business needs and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and maintain data integrity within NetSuite.
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and assist in system enhancements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and collaborate with IT for system integration.
  • Utilize the NetSuite FP& A module to create financial reports and dashboards for budget managers.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and budgets using data from various systems.
  • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to stakeholders.
  • Improve financial models and streamline existing reporting processes.
  • Uphold financial security by following internal control procedures and participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent designation is an asset.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a financial analyst or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of fund accounting and property management.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, especially in system administration and the FP& A module.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector is a plus, but not required.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work environment with standard office equipment.
  • Sedentary role with some standing or walking required.
  • Occasional overtime may be necessary, and a criminal record check is required.
