The Yukon government is seeking a highly skilled executive to fill the role of Deputy Minister of Community Services. Reporting to the Premier and relevant Ministers, this at pleasure appointment works in partnership with stakeholders, other departments, and governments to carry out and fulfill their mandated responsibilities, deliver on government priorities, and advance reconciliation with Yukon First Nations to move our territory forward.

Essential Qualifications Include
- Strong theoretical base in public administration, or related field
- Extensive executive management experience
- Experience supporting senior decision makers, ideally elected officials, by providing advice and recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to take decisive action and achieve results in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated competencies in leadership, management, negotiations and collaboration, strategic planning and implementation, change management and human resource management.
