Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Irving Forest Services team, based in Saint John, New Brunswick. The Warehouse Team Leader will lead a warehousing team focused on the accurate and timely completion of daily shipments, receipts, and inventory adjustments that supports the four mills within the Pulp and Paper division.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Control & Records Management
• Manage spare parts for Pulp & Paper Division sites
• Sort, itemize and catalog obsolete parts
• Shipping & Receiving
• Shipping and receiving of items for Pulp & Paper Division
• Vendor and Contractor Management
• Manage vendor relationships including fire protection, building alarms, etc
• Source vendors as required
• Contractor selection and management
• Equipment and Facility Management
• Preventative & corrective maintenance
• Inspection of site equipment and systems including heating systems
• Cleaning & maintaining 5S standards
• Project Management
• Small capital projects as required
• Support projects related to shutdowns at various sites
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations
• Experience operating mobile equipment, overhead crane and forklift
• Experience using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne - E1 or similar system
• Highly organized, pays close attention to detail, and a problem solver
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Driven self-starter who is flexible and adaptable to changes in assignments and priorities
• Two years post-secondary education would be considered an asset
