Bilingual (French/English) Project Coordinator

Location: Mississauga

Our client is a prominent leader in the food industry, and actively seeking a highly skilled Bilingual (French/English) Project Coordinator to join their team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to oversee and drive critical projects in a dynamic, international environment.

Job Summary: As a Bilingual (French/English) Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects within the food sector. Your role will entail close collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners. Fluency in both French and English, along with deep industry knowledge, will be essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
    • Lead project teams in executing tasks, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives and progress.
    • Cultivate strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure all projects adhere to pertinent industry standards, regulations, and quality guidelines.
    • Establish and uphold project management best practices to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Resource Management:
    • Efficiently coordinate and allocate resources to meet project demands.
    • Manage project budgets and expenses, monitoring costs and reporting discrepancies.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain precise project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and regulatory documentation.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator within the [pharmaceutical/food/manufacturing] industry.
  • Fluency in both French and English is mandatory.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Sound knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
