DHL Express currentlyhas an opening for aSr. Pricing AnalystinMississauga, ON. In this role you will be conducting pricing analyse and business evaluation using global and local pricing tools. Recommend rates and price levels for day-to-day RFQ’s and ad hoc rate requests as per set policies and processes. Work closely with the commercial team for devising measures to optimize revenue and profitability. Provide up to date pricing reports and ensure information is made available for sales and other stakeholders. Exercise and follow pricing policy and approval hierarchy.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

Supporting RFP Requests:

• Review and support rate requests from sales with optimum price
• Support with implementation of customized rates
• Perform checks and audits to ensure accuracy
  
  
  

Support in-dept Pricing Analysis and Reports:

• Support with adhoc and regular business reports & analysis
• Provide recommendations and inputs to support business
• Highlight business opportunities and support them through Promotions, Customization
  
  
  

Supporting Pricing Projects & KPI:

• Support Country team & Pricing Manager with pricing centric projects
• Ensure adherence to pricing policy and approval hierarchy while reviewing business'
• Track and improve Pricing KPIs
  
  
  

Do you have what it takes?

• Understand fundamental concepts and theories
• Knowledge of industry pricing methodologies and tools is preferred
• Strong analytical capability including expertise in Microsoft Excel ( Macros, VBA preferred), database management (MS Access, SQL & Data Factory) & Data visualization tools (Power BI, Power Pivots)
• Experience as a professional contributor on a project or specialty work team
• Requires BS/BA and 2 - 4 years relevant work experience in related discipline
• Professional certification may be required
