Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a dedicated and customer service-orientated PT - Food Runner.

The Food Runner is responsible primarily for running food items to Mosaic Bar & Grille and guest rooms deliveries. Food Runners will assist in Food & Beverage set-ups for front of the house and back of the house. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position with continual customer contact.

Candidate must be available to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starting wage for this position is $19.74 per hour, after 6 months wage is $23.03 per hour, after 1 year wage is $26.32 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Must have a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Previous food and beverage experience is an asset
  • Must have Food Safe Level 1 and Serving It Right certificate
  • Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays depending on business needs
  • Must be an excellent team player and able to work with a diverse group of individuals and guests
  • Must be able to engage customers in a professional conversation at all times
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task
  • Must have refined verbal communication skills
