Midland is currently seeking a full-time Linehaul Payroll/Admin Clerk at the Head Office in Dieppe, NB. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a “Can Do” attitude.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM to 5 PM)

Responsibilities

• Input, code (various GL) and finalize Courier & Transport Payroll. Process payroll adjustments.
• Generate PO’s and process PO adjustments.
• Manage Petty cash.
• Audit customer and agency invoices for accuracy, & process po.
• Update and maintain attendance spreadsheet.
• Update and maintain several Cost tracking spreadsheets such as productivity sheet, prelims, Period end accruals, shunt & linehaul credits, dock weight capture.
• Process payroll related remittances.
• Multitude of administrative duties related to Linehaul department.
  
  

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education
• 2-5 years’ professional work experience
• Payroll Certification through the Canadian Payroll Association would be considered an asset
• Experience with ADP is an asset but is not a requirement.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Robust organizational skills and a heightened sense of urgency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
