The Registered Dietitian reports to the Manager, Professional Practitioner.

Accountabilities:

• Provide nutrition intervention and education to patients
• Work within the patient care team
• Participate in project work as required

• Academic preparation from an accredited Canadian university program in food and nutrition or equivalent
• Practical training in an accredited practical dietetic internship program in Canada or equivalent
• Member in good standing (good character and conduct) with the College of Dietitians of Ontario is required
• Language proficiency in English required
• Record of ethical and competent practice
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience in acute medicine preferred

• Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
• Travel between and work at all Osler sites may be required

Hours: Currently days/evenings, 8 hours, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
