Job Description:
The ACI and MTS Specialist will be responsible for configuring, documenting, and automating the installation processes for bidirectional communication between UPF/MTS and various payment networks including Fedwire, CHIPS, and SWIFT. The specialist will also work on upstream MQ adapters, provide recommendations for technology operating models, and assist in the installation and configuration of SWIFTAlliance software.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, document, and automate the installation of bidirectional communication between UPF/MTS and payment networks (Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT).
- Ensure seamless integration and data flow between systems.
- Configure and document upstream MQ adapters to facilitate the sending and receiving of messages through UPF/MTS.
- Monitor and troubleshoot MQ connections to ensure reliability.
- Recommend appropriate technology operating models to optimize the performance of the MTS platform.
- Assist team members in understanding MTS logs and provide support for platform maintenance.
- Identify and coordinate resources for the installation and configuration of SWIFTAlliance software.
- Document detailed instructions and procedures to facilitate future support and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, and Compliance, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Engage in knowledge-sharing sessions to support team development.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with ACI and MTS systems, particularly in payment processing environments.
- Strong understanding of financial messaging systems including SWIFT, Fedwire, and CHIPS.
- Proficiency in .NET and Linux environments.
- Experience with MQ and messaging protocols.
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in automation scripting and software deployment.
- Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
