This role is as a self employed contractor and you need to be located in Canada - for this role you will need to speak French.

This role is operating as a self-employed associate covering work as an Assessor as determined by client terminology for the specific work. The role is responsible for delivering audits with the Retail & Hospitality division. These are specific audits covering Hospitality in Canada

You will deliver high quality assessments/audits and inspections that meet the needs of customers’ specific requirements in an efficient and professional manner.

Through providing effective support you will be responsible for:

  • Providing your monthly availability for the proposed work.
  • Plan and manage the work given within the timescales agreed with the client.
  • To complete environmental audits (food safety, health and safety and fire safety audits) in accordance with legal and client driven requirements in line with specific country codes.
  • To complete audit reports immediately after audit and to submit on the day of the audit.
  • Ensure any errors on the reports are corrected and updated when requested within 12 hours of the request.
  • To keep your Line Manager / Lead Auditor appraised of client requests during audits.
  • Allow Shadow and Witness Audits from the client, the line manager or senior team as required.
  • To maintain CDP and take on additional training as required when new clients are onboarded.
  • Maintain a high level of IT skills in line with equipment and software used in the business.

You wil need:

  • To be qualified to audit on food safety and health & safety
  • 3 Years experience as an auditor
  • Experience in hospitality auditing
  • Good with IT
  • Have the ability to travel, so ideally your own vehicle
