What you need to be successful?

  • In depth understanding of tool drawings and their relation to the assembly process.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with applicable experience.
  • Knowledge of assembly and production functions and processes.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Must be quality driven and committed to provide quality services in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must be organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to support weekday & weekend OT as required.
  • Must be able to interact with various groups from both Plant 22 and other plants.

What your day to day will look like?

  • Aware of and applies EHS policy to all processes, tools, and equipment.
  • Register Tool# in ITDM data base.
  • Receive tool and reviews inspection report.
  • Set Inspection frequency in ITDM.
  • Release tool for use.
  • Create a damage report.
  • Change status of tools in ITDM.
  • Close the demand after successful repair.
  • Fill out tooling validation tags.
  • Run an “inspection due” report in ITDM.
  • Deliver tools to shipping, change status/location in ITDM.
  • Receive inspected/calibrated tool and verify the inspection report.
  • Receiving tools with new revision change.
  • Inform process planner that tool is ready for use.
  • Shift work required (2 weeks days, 2 weeks afternoons on rotation), alternate shifts may be required at times.
