On behalf of our Large Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Lead Scrum Master on a contract basis for a 12-month term with the possibility of extension.

Summary Of The Role

As a member of the Enterprise Solutions and Analytics leadership team, the Lead Scrum Master oversees a Scrum group within the DevOps model. The role will drive agile and scrum processes, ensure team alignment with organizational objectives, and facilitate the successful delivery of solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead scrum activities and ensure adherence to agile practices within the DevOps environment.
  • Develop and implement test strategies and assess readiness of solutions in alignment with business goals.
  • Provide expert guidance on agile methodologies to support business operations and projects.
  • Mentor Scrum Masters and development teams on best practices and agile principles.
  • Identify and remove obstacles to facilitate smooth project execution and agile workflows.

Core Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in technical project management, application testing, and agile team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven experience in coaching teams on agile processes.
  • Skilled in identifying and resolving obstacles in project workflows.
  • Solid knowledge of DevOps practices and processes.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in DevOps tools and agile project management software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience within a public sector or large enterprise setting is preferred.

Terms

This is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension, based on a hybrid work arrangement from the Vancouver, BC office. Candidates must supply their own laptop and complete any required security checks before onboarding.
