Purpose
We are seeking an eager and energetic Cablebolter Operator with a positive attitude to join our Drill and Blast team and develop their skills and knowledge to contribute to our ongoing development and growth.
Responsibilities
The schedule for this position will consist of 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hours per day.

Purpose
We are seeking an eager and energetic Cablebolter Operator with a positive attitude to join our Drill and Blast team and develop their skills and knowledge to contribute to our ongoing development and growth.
Responsibilities
- Operate Cablebolter efficiently and accurately to drill cable holes, install cables and grout, etc.
- Assist Drill and Blast to complete other production tasks (hole cleaning, loading, blasting, etc.) when required
- Take direction from Drill and Blast and/or Underground Supervisors in a respectful manner
- Inspect and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner at all times
- Other duties that may be required
- 3 – 5 years of underground mining experience and/or previous experience operating heavy machinery
- Previous experience in mechanized cable installation, long hole drilling, loading, and blasting is beneficial
- Basic understanding of how to read, understand, and follow engineering prints
- Possess Ontario Basic Common Core
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Current and valid Driver’s License preferred
- A high level of flexibility to adapt to changes as necessitated by the business
- Possess effective communication skills and be a collaborative team member
