Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Corporate Auditor on a permanent basis within our Finance team. This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Saskatoon, SK.

What you’ll do:
Lead audit reviews on internal corporate operations, obtaining information via documentation review and by interviewing employees involved in the system or process.
Identify key controls to manage risk and weaknesses and design tests to determine if they are operating as designed. Based on test results, you will communicate operational weaknesses, areas of risk, and recommendations to improve operational effectiveness.
Lead project assurance reviews to identify significant risks within projects, assess effectiveness of any mitigating actions, and provide recommendations to further reduce the likelihood and impact of significant project risks.
Assist external auditors twice a year by gathering audit populations, reconciling general ledger accounts, providing year-end and budget revenue projections, and preparing working papers for compliance audits.
Supervise and direct staff auditors on assignments. This will include on-the-job training and assessing their skills.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
- Have 6-9 years of relevant progressively responsible experience, including experience with assurance services in the IIA International Professional Practices Framework, Canadian Auditing Standards, and Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or commerce with a major in accounting or finance. A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
- Hold a Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or Professional Audit designation (CIA).
- Possess knowledge of risk management, governance, control processes, and strong report writing skills.
- Are familiar with data analysis and data analytic tools (considered an asset).
