JOB TYPE: Permanent part-time

SCHEDULE: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Rotation, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken English

JOB SUMMARY:

The successful candidate will perform technical and clinical work in the form of radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy, CT scan, angiography, mammography, osteo-densitometry and other specialized techniques. Will apply ionizing radiation and other imaging modalities to produce diagnostic images in accordance with established practice standards and protocols. Will also perform all other related tasks based on the department's needs and may be asked to work in other facilities in some cases.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Member in good standing of the New Brunswick Association of Medical Radiation Technologists;
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate;
  • Successful completion of certification programs for functions specific to the unit, within the set timeframe;
  • Good judgement and communication;
  • Proven ability to organize and manage assigned workload;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network
